While I was in Australia one thing was very clear, damn, those people love chicken. Whether it was Red Rooster, Red Lea, Oporto, KFC or one of the countless mom and pop charcoal chicken places - chicken reigned supreme.
Considering I ate at those places myself, I can tell you one thing chick-fil-a; you guys would thrive there aswell. There would be one thing u would have to change. As much as they love chicken, they love soggy and not crispy fries aka chips, with either chicken salt or brown gravy.
An original chick-fil-a sandwich here in TX costs roughly 2.89 U.S. In Australia you could easily sell it for 4-5 dollars Australian. A chicken roll in OZ goes for around 4 dollars Australian. That's basically a 6 in style sub with chopped roasted chicken meat.
A chicken sandwich or a chicken burger as they call it sell from 4-5 dollars Australian and to be honest, they don't even compare to the taste and moistness of a chick-fil-a chicken burger.
You guys are missing out on a goldmine. Wish I had the resources to open one there.
